The Gilead Center partners with the following four community partner organizations to conduct health outreach and referral and enrollctivities:

Centro Romero: Working on the Chicago Northeast side, Centro Romero offers interrelated programs including adult education, legal assistance, women's empowerment programs, and community organizing.

The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago: The Council is a federation of  Islamic Centers, mosques, schools, social service groups and other organizations on Chicago's North and South Sides and  the suburbs of Morton Grove, Des Plaines, Northbrook, Villa Park, Lombard, and Bridgeview.

Heritage Community Development Corporation/Third Baptist Church of Chicago: Located on Chicago's South side HCDC/Third Baptist serves a predominantly African American population in the Roseland, Englewood, and Washington Heights neighborhoods.

Logan Square Neighborhood Association: LSNA serves a predominantly Hispanic population in the Logan Square and Humboldt Park communities on Chicago's North side.

Become A Community Partner
Gilead is especially interested in assisting groups and communities with a high rate of uninsured individuals and families, such as:

  • Hispanics, African-Americans, members of the Islamic community and other ethnic minorities
  • Low-income workers and their families
  • People who have lost coverage in a move from welfare to work
  • Children in new immigrant families
